Ke$ha & Rihanna – Molson Canadian Amphitheatre 08/05/2010

We weren’t going to pony up huge cash to see this pop show, but with the Pizza Pizza summer concert deal, we decided for $11.11 each it might be worth it. This was a date on Rihanna’s Last Girl on Earth Tour. Ke$ha awkwardly danced her way through a fairly unenthusiastic set, with a lot of the audience not really caring. When she played her hits like “Tik Tok”, there was a bit of life, but overall nothing to write home about. Rihanna finally hit the stage and put on a great show, with lots of cool setpieces, great vocals and dancing. We were hanging out behind the 400 seats to get a better view, but security eventually made us move, so we took up on the lawn. Not the best pop concert we’ve ever been to but it was certainly worth the price of admission.
