Tickets won online – awesome show but the room was hot as hell. Found a good spot in front of the air conditioning vent 🙂 Pacific Air opened the show.

Atlas Genius & Imagine Dragons – Sound Academy 02/27/13

Awesome show at the shitty Sound Academy. Atlas Genius were great, they are starting to break with ‘Trojans’ being a hit and they just put out their proper debut album. The crowd was into them well enough and they proved to be a great warm up for ID. Last year we saw the Dragons at the Opera House, just as they were breaking out – now they are way more popular – playing for 2500 people instead of 500 at this SOLD OUT show. Also, they’ve added a lot more production value and design to their live show, all of which added to a nice atmosphere. There were a few sound problems here and there but overall they sounded great and the audience was loving the set. The live version of Radioactive has a great energy and the entire crowd sing-along that ensues with ‘It’s Time’ was worth the price of admission alone. Got the tickets off the net for $8 each last minute 🙂
