My Chemical Romance played to a sold out crowd, however the sound mix was pretty terrible. The band was high energy but the distortion was off the charts and the vocals were low in the mix, so it sounded like a lot of extremely loud NOISE. Fairly disappointing since we’ve seen them before and it was a lot better.

My Chemical Romance headlined the Edge’s electric Christmas show at the Sound Academy. It was completely sold out and there was nowhere to move. Mary and I stood just behind the sound board and had a great view. The crowd was very high energy (despite some douche on a horrible first date who kept talking about needles and giving blood in between bands) and MCR put on a great show.
