Kings of Leon – Molson Canadian Amphitheatre 07/28/2010

Having missed them the first few times around, we decided that we finally had to see Kings live. Canadian rockers The Stills opened the show with a slightly overlong set with many songs seeming to blend into the next, the standouts being singles “Being Here” and “I’m With You”. Now it was time for KoL. We had a great view from the floor and they put on a great show. The stage set was very post-apocalyptic and there was a ton of smoke used throughout (with really cool red coloured smoke kicking things off – Crawl opened the show and was a clear highlight). Kings were great and I’d definitely see them again sometime. I also was lucky enough to get a copy of the setlist from right off the stage! Afterwards, Hollerado did a short set from the roof of the Amex Lounge.
